What's the role?

As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will be responsible for receiving and despatching goods which enter the warehouse by means of unpacking container and trucks. You will palletise, receive and handle goods related queries, liaise with both clients and our operations team to ensure orders are despatched as per request. Also key to the role is the operation of both forklift types (high-reach in particular) as well as RF scanning equipment to manage warehouse stock.

What you need is:

 To be successful, the ideal applicant will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

• Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role and operating a forklift

• Experience operating high-reach forklifts is highly desired and necessary for the role

• Experience operating scanners

• Experience handling interstate freight movements

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously

• Strong understanding of warehouse safety

• Experience with scanning and pick packing duties is highly desired

• Experience with container unpacks

• Strong attention to detail

• Sound computer knowledge
